A beautiful and simple shawl crocheted in the well-known “Granny” pattern which is a super easy technique and thus perfect for beginners or as a relaxing project while watching TV :-)
The shawl is worked in Cotton Kings Sultan which is a gorgeous “cake-yarn” in 100% cotton. The yarn consists of 4 thin and untwined strands with beautiful, slow color transitions which makes it perfect for this project. Happy crocheting!

This shawl works up beautifully, I took it on holiday with me, and the simple easy to follow pattern was the perfect project. The Sultan yarn stays cool in your hands and it was really easy to memorise the pattern and work it on the beach. I’d totally recommend this pattern and yarn, and will definitely be making another in the future ( hopefully on another holiday!)

I tweaked the pattern to get a lacier version, i.e. replace each 3dc with dc ch dc, and used sock yarn which made a smaller shawl but it was very pretty. I just wish I had remembered to take a photo before I gifted it.
