PATTERN INFORMATION

This dress is crafted in two segments using 4mm (US 6) circular needles. The upper section begins with a temporary cast on and progresses bottom-up in the round, incorporating colour changes. While the stitches for the lower part are put on hold. The upper part of the dress is worked in one piece as far as the straps separation. Subsequently, the straps are individually worked in a back-and-forth manner. After that, the lower part of the dress is constructed top-down in the round. A belt is made using twisted ribs for more elasticity and comfort. Then, some increases are made to offer a nice drape to the dress. Finally, the bottom border is fashioned using double stockinette stitch and all stitches are bound off using the Italian bind off.
