These lovely and colorful socks are knit without a heel.
These lovely and colorful socks are knit without a heel. The twisted ribbed pattern ensures that the socks fits like it should, even though it’s knit without a traditional heel. It makes them a very beginner-friendly project.
The socks can be used by several different shoe sizes since the size is determined from the width and not the length.

These socks are super-easy to knit, with no turning the heel or kitchener-stitching the toe. I used a 30cm x 3mm circular needle (Addi) and switched to DPNs only for the toe decreases, which made them even quicker to knit.
For this trial pair I used sock yarn from my yarn stash, but I'm looking forward to using Universe or Happy Socks for future pairs.
