Winter is just around the corner, and that means cosy indoor time. What is better than a gorgeous throw blanket for the sofa to snuggle under when the cold starts to show it’s face outside? Here’s our suggestion for the perfect blanket, which you can crochet yourself.
The blanket is crocheted in Hobbii Amigo yarn, which is 100% Acrylic, and available in a range of beautiful colors.
The design is Corner to Corner, also called “C2C”. The blanket consists of “C2C” squares which are then crocheted together continuously as they are formed into a beautiful design.

I absolutely love this pattern! I chose it initially to make a blanket for my granddaughter in Canada who started her nursing career right at the beginning of the COVID crisis. I had not done any crochet for years and admit found it very tricky at first. I did a few trial squares before deciding I could tackle the blanket. To cut a long story short , I loved doing it and have since done 4 more for the rest of the family.....now on number 6 .... all different colours. My husband worked out slightly different arrangement of the squares within the pattern to make them all individual . There is now one blanket in Sweden, four in Canada , and the last one will also go to Canada.
So grateful to the designer of this lovely pattern !

I didn’t love this pattern at first- my first square looked a bit wonky. I persevered and I’m glad I did! I loved doing this project and will be doing another in a different colourway.

I am only halfway through the pattern, but I have found it to be very addictive and easy to follow. I am using up my odd balls of yard so will have a multi coloured blanket.
