I have been wanting to make this blanket for quite a while since I first saw the pattern. I found it relatively easy to follow and would class myself as an experienced beginner. I do think mine looks slightly different, so I am not certain I did it correctly, but I am pleased with the result nevertheless. Mine looks a little more 'closed' as if the height of the double crochet stitches is smaller relative to the simple stitch. It is Tunisian crochet so you need to be familiar with the technique and have a suitable hook with extension. I made the blanket bigger than the pattern and have uploaded photos of it in the photo gallery with details of size and how much yarn I used.
