ABOUT THE PATTERN

Simple, short slipover worked bottom up with three strands of yarn held together. The length of the slipover is adjustable. First, the body is worked in the round until the work is divided at the armholes. The front piece and back piece are finished separately and worked back and forth on the needle. The shoulders are knit together. Stitches are picked up for the armhole and neckline ribbing. Suitable for beginners.

Sudeshna

This is a really quick, easy to knit (almost seam free) on trend pattern. The shape can be modified to suit all tastes from cropped & boxy to a longer more fitted shape.
I’ve finished one and am starting another one as a present for my sister. I have used Winter glow solid as the main strand and combined with a single strand of various coloured yarns from my stash. I used a 7mm needle for a lighter garment for autumn. (I am modelling it on the train to London!) Love it!

Jacqueline

So quick and easy to make. Easily adaptable to make it longer if needed.

Zoe

My first ever knit - I used only 1 strand of megaball and 1 strand of sweet tweed which worked well together. Great beginners project, the only tricky bit was picking up stitches for the ribbing round the arm holes but my wonky ribbing just gives the garment character...

Josephine

Very good pattern. Will make a good vest for the spring weather

Barbara

Easy to knit .I used 2 strands of yarn, not 3 and knit front and back separately.Cute and snuggly top for cooler days.
