Amigo Chunky is a wonderfully thick yarn with a gorgeous and bouncy volume. It is produced in 100% HB acrylic in a really good quality and the wide range of beautiful screams after creative color choices.
HB stands for High-bulk. It is a production technique where you use steam and pressure to make the fibers contract a little and curl so that they become fuller. The result is a light and soft yarn that is both comfortable to work with and to wear.
With the big, puffy 100 gram skeins you will quickly see results. Amigo Chunky works best on a size 7mm hook/needle and up. It is therefore ideal for thick sweaters, cardigans, blankets, scarves, etc. The airy yarn keeps you warm and will not get too heavy.
Amigo is machine washable at 30° C, perfect for everyday use. Colors and shape will hold up to wash after wash. If you are allergic to wool, or if you want to opt out of animal fibers for other reasons, you can easily replace it with Amigo and get a soft and lovely result.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I got colour 26 (Patina Green) on a whim just because the colour looked nice. This colour is not just nice, it's beautiful! The yarn is a delight to work with as well. I'll admit I can't knit or crochet, but I have been learning Tunisian Crochet for a few months now and this yarn makes it a very enjoyable experience. Now the proud owner of my first handmade hat all because I loved using this yarn.
I’ve bought this yarn before so I knew it would be perfect for my next knit wear project. Soft and lovely colours. Washable and durable. I love it. I made a nice chunky hat from one skein (less than!) of A26 and a pair of wrist warmers to match from a second skein, both as a gift for a friend. Definitely recommend.
I am so glad that i chose to use this acrylic yarn. It's incredibly soft, and a great alternative to wool i find. The strands really are strong and do stay together despite unravelling, and it doesn't pill much at all. Really lovely to work with, if looking for chunky acrylic yarn, this one is really great
I've ordered 10 in the colour WALNUT (05) for my 2nd project ever ( a cardigan ) and it turned out amazing! This yarn is very simple to work with, soft and warm...I couldn't make a better choice! Just ordered 10 more in Titanium colour, I m planning to make a sweater out of it!!
I'm really happy I tried this yarn. The end result is a lovely soft blanket that still has a lot of loftiness and cozy to it. I used this as a replacement for Lion Brand Hue & Me, and it was the perfect substitute; it feels nicer and was cheaper.
