Vintage Hank is a lovely and shiny wool yarn with 30% bamboo. The bamboo helps give the yarn a soft and light feel, and the wool gives it great durability. Wool is a durable material that rarely needs to be washed and lasts a very long time. This is one of the reasons why some view wool as one of the most sustainable materials.
Vintage Hank comes in hanks of 3.5 ounces and can be used for any type of knitting or crocheting. It’s perfect for crocheting and knitting small animals that need a “woolen” look. And, naturally, it’s great for a nice sweater for yourself, a child, or a doll :) Please take note that the yarn must be wound up before use.
Vintage Hank isn’t just a yarn with sustainable properties, it’s also AZO-certified and, thus, a yarn everyone can feel completely safe to use. An AZO-certificate documents that the yarn has gone through many tests and is approved following European laws.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 22.HCN.95901). Find more information about the certification at the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

A wonderful mix of wool and bamboo makes the yarn light weight with a luxurious shinny reflection. The yarn is easy to crochet with, and especially good for crocheting Tunisian crochet patterns as patterns can be easily seen. It is beginner friendly as it is easy to release and rework the stitches when making wrong stitches. The colour available are rich and elegant. Good to use Vintage Hank to knit or crochet a cardigan, jumper or any garment. The only thing I concern is the yarn skein is in hank style, I need to roll it into a ball to start crochet, if I do not do this, the yarns are in total mess after I start crocheting!

I love this yarn, it is so beautifully soft, lovely to work with.
I am lucky enough to have a Swift and a Yarn Winder, so I often buy yarn on hanks
Raspberry and Burgundy shades are similar shades and they will make a beautiful ombre
