Acacia is a lovely and soft mixed yarn in cotton and acrylic. The cotton adds breathability and comfort while the acrylic makes the yarn lighter and helps keep its shape. A perfect combination where both acrylic and cotton get to show their best qualities.
The cotton content makes for slightly firmer fibers making it easy to work with for both knitting and crocheting. It’s easy to get the stitches nice and even. We’re looking forward to making pretty summer blouses in pastel shades, but Acacia is great all year round, e.g., in long-sleeved sweaters and cardigans.
The colors are extra beautiful because the delicate shades show themselves as a slightly mottled effect when cotton and acrylic are colored separately. It makes for an evocative and classic look with a very special play of colors.
Acacia is soft and completely itch-free and is of course machine washable and easy to maintain. It’s a good choice if you want to use yarn without animal fibers - or you experience discomfort with wool.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Made myself the joo sweater by Novemberknits with this yarn in acacia. It’s more of a blue than it looks on my screen (which shows the colour to be a little more grey) but it’s still beautiful.
The yarn was smooth, soft and did not split easily. A little ball also went a long way and I was able to make my jumper with less than 3 skeins of 100gs.
Whilst made with cotton, knitting it has produced quite a heavy fabric that I think will work well on the hot tube stations in the winter.

Great balance of cotton and acrylic - lighter than pure cotton and very soft. I'm currently knitting a striped blanket and the colours combine nicely. It hasn't split despite having to unravel a few sections after changing my plans

I made a summer top with this yarn which I've worn and washed (in the machine) many times, it's held its shape and colour perfectly! Lovely and light yarn, easy to work with and no joins or knots. Will definitely buy this again :)

Currently using this yarn to make the Laia Bikini set, and it is a joy to work with! Its super soft, squishy, & really light. It has also held its shape pretty well considering I've had to unravel it quite a few times.
