We’ve picked some of the rainbow colors from our popular Rainbow Cotton - and used them in a lovely and classic 4-ply sock yarn. Rainbow Sock Wool is spun from high-quality wool and polyamide. It’s superwash treated, which means that you can wash it in your washing machine.
Get inspired by the many pretty colors and make striped socks or, maybe, add a motif or pattern. If you’d rather knit some thick socks in the same pretty colors, then we recommend the 8-ply version for a size 4 mm needle (US 6) instead. The colors in the two different weights match.
NB: These are 50-gram skeins (1.8 oz), so you will need two skeins to knit one pair of socks (up to a EUR 43).
Color matches from our Rainbow Cotton line can be found below.

Using colour numbers 32 ( a cherry red and black (08) loved this yarn, smooth and fast to knit up no tangling great definition of stitches. Also very springy and soft finish.
I'll add a pic but my camera is turning the red to an orange for so e reason.
I have since bought more of this yarn in different colours. The pattern is my own and is an Xmas present for Meg who asked for fingertipless gloves in either red or black so I instantly thought of Dennis the menace and made them stripy. I do hope she loves them, because I think they're fab but no all my friends want them. I've offered to teach them to knit !

Very nice selection of colours. Yarn feels sturdy, and I’m expecting it will make good long-lasting socks. Comparable to Drops Fabel in terms of softness

Colour (36) is gorgeous! It’s so bright and soft and I’m in love… I’ll need to make a pair of socks for everyday.

The yarn is very soft and pleasant to touch. I've purchased quite a lot of it and am planning to buy more. Love it!

No(38) is a creamy, beautiful colour and easy to crochet with. Feels amazing on my feet as a pair of socks!
