Finished, am just delighted with it. As I'm sure my granddaughter will be, it's soft and very cosy with the Wheel of Alpaca yarn.

I only learnt to crochet last year. My granddaughter asked me to make this blanket for her! It does say intermediate skill but that was the one she chose. It really is complicated. It has taken me 3 restarts and hours to get to row 20! I did use the video tutorial several times. But I am determined to make this for her. I am learning so much. I have ended up counting every stitch, on every side on every row. But I'm getting there. I am so proud of myself.
