Chunky Rapunzel - Scarf

PATTERN INFORMATION
This scarf is worked length-wise. When the scarf is finished, you will have created a long scarf with 2 lined slits in various locations. The slits are then transformed into a braid using the magic braid method.

I’ve never worked with Udon before and, I have to say, I got a real kick out of my giant, sparkly crochet hook.
Once I’d grasped how to do Fhdc and got used to ENORMO YARN this worked up really quickly. I’ve got quite a lot of yarn left over so I’m contemplating tassels. The designer’s video on how to do the braid was INVALUABLE. Quite fancy making a yellow one for the full Rapunzel experience, plus there’s enough yarn to make it even bigger which is something to consider.. It’s entirely possible everyone I know will get one of these for Christmas.
