Produced my first sock! Pattern was easy enough for an experienced beginner to follow so long as you're comfortable with DP's or a small circular. The ones I produced had the feel of the easier bootees I have made in the past but now I know I can turn a heel, more delicate projects are under foot (pardon the pun).

The heel flap and gusset seem to start quite far down the back of the ankle than other socks I have knit and I don't like how I keep wanting to pull them up to get the heel flap to where I think it should be. For me, the fit is just not right. However, the pattern is well written and easy to follow and I am sure these socks will be ideal for some people, just not me.
