Knitted Crown - Headband
Cute headband
Knitted Crown is for all the little and big princesses among us. Yes, you read that right, because the crown can be knit in a grownup size too!
The perfect project to use all your yarn leftovers on, a fun present for your friend, but also for the little 3-year-old in the family who knows nothing better than playing princess - even when the weather is cold and the ears need to be kept warm.
The headband is knit double-stranded in the round with rib stitches and is done in absolutely no time.
Have fun!

Lovely little pattern. I used a combination of my own existing yarns and so had to work out how many peaks I could make for the gauge, and the result was a delightful little crown. I followed the pattern’s depth rather than how it looks on the picture ( the depth looks about double in the photo) but the pattern worked well for my granddaughter’s forehead so as always, use your own judgement. A fun pattern to teach a relative beginner how to use short rows.

A very lovely pattern. I knitted crowns for my boys and they love them.
The pattern is easy to read and a fast knitted project. but as it's knitted on 1-1 rib, I found it a little bit strange that you co an uneven number (91). I made 90 instead to have an even 1-1 rib and improvised at the last peak (12 stitches instead of 13).
