Colorina is a lovely, soft yarn with a slightly mottled look combined with long color changes. Colorina is a unique-looking yarn unlike any other.
The yarn has a loosely spun structure, which adds a little variety in thickness. It’s really easy to work with, and you’ll enjoy seeing the results as you work. The long color changes create beautiful plays of color in the form of subdued, wide stripes that slowly change color.
Colorina is a great combination of wool and acrylic, giving you the best qualities of both fibers. The wool makes the yarn breathable, as is common with natural fibers, while the acrylic grants the yarn an incredible color depth.
The result is a warm and wonderfully soft yarn that’s easy to handle since it’s machine washable. The sky’s the limit when it comes to the many creative projects you can make. Colorina can be used for almost any type of clothing - e.g. sweaters, cardigans, ponchos, and, naturally, a wealth of different accessories and interiors.

What lovely yarn!
For 50g you get a fair bit of yardage, too. This yarn is very lovely and soft. Those sensitive to wool will definitely pick up on the 20% wool content in it though. It isn't scratchy, but there's something wooly about it that just can't be denied. It also has a sizeable halo, so maybe not the best thing to have directly next to your skin if you're prone to getting all itchy like myself. The colours are beautiful, with nice subtle transitions. One thing I should mention though is that this yarn is biased (unbalanced, where it has a tendency to wrap around itself) which means that it will not lend itself well for knitting. I don't know for sure as I haven't knit with it yet, but from past experience... Won't make a difference with crocheting and weaving though. I'm currently working on a crocheted jumper with this yarn, and it's looking fab.

one of my favourite yarns so far! The color changes are subtle yet beautiful, it's super soft, fluffy, feels like a cloud, warm. You just have to try it to believe it!
I have ordered a lot but only used one skein so far. Not sure if I was unlucky or if it is really like that, but at times the thickness of the yarn seems to change a bit, so it is a bit inconsistent. Still love it and overall you can't see it in the project. Making a neck warmer with colors 5 and 4. Pictures to come shortly!

I absolutely love this yarn. So much so that I am ordering more, it is perfect for crocheting a wrap it will keep me warm without weight, brilliant as I have arthritis in my shoulders. The colour changes are very subtle and the colours -wow- 05 has gorgeous changes in lilac ,soft mauve and a light purple. Also 200metres in each ball makes it very reasonable for garments and larger shawls etc.

Completely in love with this gorgeous yarn.
Very soft and fabulous colours. As the previous review mentions, it does tangle easily, so not great if you make a mistake and have to undo!!
I am crocheting a baby jumper for my granddaughter and a cardigan for me!! Fabulous stuff!!!

This is one of my favourites! I bought the green for to make a pair of socks for my partner.
Not only did they come out as a wonderful patterning of different greens, but I still had a lot left over (even though I made sure to knit up looong socks!)
