Judy is one of the most versatile yarns and it’s made from jute. Jute is the name of the plant that the jute yarn is made from. It’s pretty, coarse, and very durable. The yarn consists of 2 strands that are spun together.
The pretty, rustic yarn can be used for many different projects. We especially recommend it for crocheting items like coaster, storage or decorative baskets, Christmas ornaments, lamps, pot cozies, placemats, keychains, etc. The yarn can also be used for macramé, so don’t hold back if you like macramé more than crocheting.
We’ve had yarns made for you in subtle colors, but we also have a couple of vibrant colors among them for those of you who like your interiors to be a little bolder.
Small tip: Judy can also be used as ribbon when you wrap presents. A more sustainable and prettier alternative to the classic plastic ribbons.
Thickness: approx. 0,06” (EU: 1,5 mm)

sheds a but but still fun for macrame and cottage core themed items. like the variety of colours as brown jute is easy to find but colourful jute is not

Lovely choice of colours and very fun to work with. I didn't have any issues with it!

First time to buy jute yarns to make home projects when it was on sale. Colours available are beautiful and bright. Yarns itself are hard to crochet as it is not elastic and stretchy like wool or acrylic yarns. I need to use more strength to pull the stitch and make my wrist very tired when crocheting. Therefore I only gave 4 stars.

Not a massive fan of this yarn if I'm honest, it sheds more than I expected and the colour seeps out of it when wet which isn't practical if, like me, you were to make a crochet scrubby. It doesn't stain anything like skin, plates etc but it is quite annoying. Gave it a 2 because the rough quality of the wool works perfect to make a scrubby.
