If you crochet fairly tight and usually take a small size, then make the medium size on this pattern. There wasn't much difference and not a slouchy fit for me, but the medium looks and feels much better. Still a great hat and enjoyable to make.
The yarns feel lovely to work with together, really silky.
I was a bit confused with the right side/wrong side of the work but the internet and YouTube helped.

A initially confusing pattern for an advanced level crocheter because of the non standardised nature of the writing. (This maybe due to translation) However the final item is extremely nice and useful. Mine is more of a beanie nature, had I realised the model has a smaller head with the larger hat I would have added more rows prior to decrease rows. Images were shared on instagram #dawn.perry1

Lovely hat. Love the colours. Although the fluffy yarn sheds its fibres, so I am unable to wear it.

Pattern a little confusing. Could be written more clearly in rows/rounds bullet points rather than paragraphs and some descriptions took a while to understand. Overall, once deciphered, makes a nice hat. Not as slouchy fit as the image would suggest but a decent hat. If you want the slouchy fit, I'd advise to add more rows before beginning the decrease.

I found the pattern confusing and the decreasing part really difficult to follow, I ended up frogging the hat 3 times and then made up my own ending. It turned out ok but definitely not like the picture.
