I love this hat and this pattern but I found the decrease difficult and ended up with more than the pattern said I should have, I decreased all by two at the end to compensate and it turned out beautiful but still… I also could not for the life of me do this hat on the round, it’s not beginner friendly so I did swap to straight needles and purled where otherwise it would have been knit on the straight stick between pattern lines. I tried on circular and failed 7 times as if you drop one stitch it is near impossible to fix easily.
