When we made Hobbii Dahlia, we wanted to create the most beautiful explosion of color. For Dahlia Halloween, we’ve flipped everything upside down and chosen the most spooky and fascinating colors we could think of.

The Dahlia line is known for its four untwinned thin cotton strands that gradually change color, which create the most magical color shifts in your knit or crocheted projects. The changing colors almost create a kind of dip-dye effect that really shines in projects like knit or crocheted shawls.

The yarn is made from 100% pure cotton and comes in large skeins of 200 grams (approx. 7 oz). The sky’s the limit when you’re working with Dahlia Halloween. Use his yarn for the craziest Halloween costumes – or make some unique accessories for a costume you’ve bought.

Tip: You can make it much easier to work with a four-stranded yarn by running it through a small bead before you start knitting or crocheting. That way, the strands will always stay together while you’re working.

I'd never used this type of yarn before so was at first apprehensive about how I'd get on with it. I bought 2 in the Jack o lantern colourway. I'm actually using it to crochet a giant granny square that I'm going to make into a summer lightweight shrug. I'm thrilled with how it is working up. The colours change gradually into the next producing a stunning effect. Beautiful yarn that I'm so glad I decided to try. I'll be purchasing more for sure.

My first time using Dahlia yarn and I love it. I'm using it to make a lightweight summer shrug and it's such fun to work with. They way the colours gradually blend instead of a sudden colour change is stunning. Takes a little getting used to if you're not used to such loosely wound yarn so takes a little more concentration to be sure you pick up all four strands but once you get the feel for it it's easy to use.

I brought a few colours of this yarn, absolutely delighted with the colours. it's 4 threads together easy to get used to, I add a cup when the cake gets used to help avoid collapse. I am making a wall hanging with one already. Can't wait to upload the finished

Fantastic gradual colour change in the purple "dark witch" and super easy yarn to work with! I've been working with three strands of it to make it chunkier which has worked really well - sturdy enough for a shaped hat!
