It is time again for a delicious and warm cup of tea with our Tea Time XL, the thicker version of our Tea Time. It is a delightful 100% acrylic cake yarn that offers a twist to any crafting experience.

Tea Time XL varies slightly in thickness, going from thicker to thinner, resulting in a charming texture and adding a subtle surprise element to your project making it one of a kind.

The palette pays homage to the diverse flavors of tea around the world with each shade named after one of our most beloved varieties. The colors are mainly earthy and wintery, all switching to brighter and more vibrant hues within the same cake, matching the ones of our regular Tea Time. The color transitions will make you start thinking of beautiful throws, ponchos, long scarves, and cozy cardigans. The whopping 400 m per cake, together with the larger recommended needles or hook, will get you a long way.

Its medium thickness will make it easy to knit or crochet with Tea Time XL and the possibility of washing the final item in the machine gives this yarn a lot of versatility.

I love this yarn, it is so soft and lovely to work with. I am making a knitted cowl in the shade Earl Grey and the colour transitions are stunning. I will definitely be making lots more accessories to wear in autumn and winter with this yarn, its very soft, cosy and works up fast.

This yarn is so lovely and cuddly! I am currently making a jumper with it. I love the colour changes, I'm using "Oblong" and its perfect for a winter jumper. The yarn is easy to crochet with and my jumper is working up fast!

Yarn is nice.. ish? It has a lot of variation in thickness. Sometimes there are chunky bits of random colour added on top of the strand. Some of these bits were not very well integrated. They do not add anything to the yarn imo. One time I untwizzled an ugly white lump and the whole strand came apart which is fair enough, I just tied it back together. The colours are very pretty in the Rooibos version, ranging from grey to brown, purple, orange and some green and blue. Overall it looks reddish brown like rooibos!
It did not like being unravelled and got tangled up in its own fuzz.
It's good value for money so despite these niggles,I'd buy it again.
