Thick, chunky, and super soft – that is how Baby Snuggle Solid is best described.

Baby Snuggle Solid is a microfibre yarn and you might already know its type as it is used in e.g. teddies, blankets, and super soft dressing gowns. The velour-like surface is what makes the yarn so incredibly soft, that it’s hard to keep your fingers off it.

Baby Snuggle Solid has a stimulating surface and is thus great for children’s things, e.g. the most wonderful blanket or the softest teddy bear. It is also well suited for interior projects such as pillows and fuzzy poufs…

Remember that you can also use the yarn to crochet or knit something for yourself. Lovely, soft sweaters in Baby Snuggle Solid will feel like wearing a great big hug.

Always start and finish your projects in Baby Snuggle in the following manner:
1. Tie a small, tight knot at the end of the yarn when you are starting and again when finishing your work

or

2. Very carefully burn the tip of the yarn. It will melt into a little hard ball.
Repeat every time you change skeins. This will ensure that the fibers don’t “slide off” the yarn as you are working with it.

Baby Snuggle Solid has the Oekotex label, and it can also be machine-washed, which is a nearly indispensable quality, especially if the yarn is used for small children.

If you prefer a print variant you can find Baby Snuggle Print here on the website. You will find the link above this text.

The print version is slightly smaller in volume than Solid but can be knitted and crocheted on the same needles/hook. This can, however, be affected if you mix Print and Solid in the same project and that is why we recommend you use them separately. Since Snuggle is a thick yarn, where few stitches quickly become lengthy in cm, it wouldn’t mean a difference in the size of the finished projects made in the two variations.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Really impressed. New to crocheting and have been doing amigurumi. I've not encountered any breakages and had very little if any fluff shedding. The only time it shed a bit more was on the tails when closing a magic ring, or when using the tails to sew different parts together (as the tail is constantly going in and out of stitches), but considering that they are the tails and therefore not visible, it's no issue at all.

Can be a touch difficult to see the stitches but the definition builds up after the first few initial rounds. I found it very easy to slide my hook through as it's just a lot of fluff surrounding the actual string. It also means that mistakes are not noticeable.

I found that stitch markers are your best friend here, and due to the fluffiness, you don't get any gaping holes like you might do using other yarn. Once you get the hang of it, it really is quite a delight. I see myself switching between this and the Rainbow Cotton 8/8 for the foreseeable future.

I’ve used a few different types of chenille/polyester types of yarn, but this one is by far my favourite!! It’s so so soft, very easy to work with, denser than most fluffy yarns, and it doesn’t shed to the same extent as other fluffy yarns I’ve used!

I use it to crochet plushies and I stuff them quite firm. For every yarn I would have to use a smaller hook than what’s recommended so the stuffing doesn’t show through. This is the first time ever the yarn I’ve used has worked up perfectly using the recommended hook size!!

I’m very very impressed with this yarn and I’m so glad I ordered as much as I did! 😂 I’ll definitely be ordering more when all the colours are restocked!

Lately all my friends seem to be having babies which has sent me down a spiral of making Lovey's. I have made dinosaurs, hippo's, unicorns and dogs using this yarn and I absolutely love it! It is very soft and I am mad about the colors! They are honestly the most beautiful colors! It is really easy to crochet with although there can be a bit of fluff so make sure to give it a good dust off before giving to anyone. My only bit of advice is when making a magic circle, be careful when closing the circle as tugging too hard can break the yarn. It does take a bit of fiddling to close it but I wouldn't use any other wool for the loveys.

I love the baby snuggle yarn because it is so soft, easy to work with and has some very beautiful colours options. I find it generally sheds less than other chenille yarns I have tried and is quite good for doing a magic ring. It's also very strong and durable and doesn't break that easily when the magic ring isn't working out.

The price is also great when on sale and the delivery is fairly fast. Some people say that seeing stitches can be difficult but personally I haven't had this problem even as a beginner, maybe a bit in the first 2 rounds of crocheting in the round but nothing a stitch marker or two can't solve.

This is my second best favourite yarn because as a newbie I like the feel and ease of use of hobbi honey bunny than the hobbi baby snuggle. As a beginner, I was a bit struggling at first with baby snuggle on my first try because i had difficulty with identifying the stitches that i made. However, after doing more projects I get the hang of it and I grew to love it. Honey bunny still is my first choice but since baby snuggle is on sale right now my second purchase are all baby snuggle yarns 😂😂😂 excited and waiting for my next yarn delivery. -chowcrafts UK 🇬🇧
