I love the lucky dip bags! I've honestly just bought another two of these bags, the yarn is really soft, it has a reflective strand through it, although it's not "shiny", it looks amazing in the right light! I got 10 balls of wool in five different colours, and have been using them to make hats! the wool is really soft, and really nice to work with! I would recommend this bag to anyone, so long as you don't mind getting random colours, it's definitely worth it!

Just got a £20.00 bag of the cotton yarn unusual colours but all the Same quality and ply. 20 x 50gram balls 4 balls in 5 different colours very impressed and pleased love this bag yeh !

I just typed a more scathing review of this bag, and hope it doesn't get posted as I. reflection I would rate this pack 3.5 to 4 stars. I received 10 balls of the starlight yarn containing 60% superwash wool and at first wasn't impressed at all with the 2 shades of grey and on shade of pink received. I didn't like the feel of the yarn, and felt the reflective quality was poor. I take that back! It might not be yarn I would have chosen, but have just started crocheting a sweater, and it feels much softer now I have worked with the yarn. the reflective qualities are shining much better too. Not necessarily what I would have chosen, and not exactly the shiny yarn I was hoping for, but surprisingly nice once I have started working with it. just a shame I don't have enough of the same shade to do a sweater. I would have done a colour block sweater but the 2 shades of grey are too similar, so going to have to order some more yarn to complete my project!

This wasn't a bad bag - i got 10 balls of starlight in three different colours (so there was a discount to buying this bag). However, this is the only 'shimmery' yarn that I've already used and I had hoped to get a variety of shimmery yarns to give some new types a go, so it was disappointing in that sense.

If I could give this bag 0 stars I would. It does not compare to the quality of the cotton bags. utter rubbish and certainly not £20 worth of shiny or metallic yarn. I received 10 balls of starlight which is not nice yarn, and in the shades of grey received, barely has any noticeable shine. It is extremely disappointing, and given the fact that the yarn received currently retails at £2.15 a ball, isn't even a bargain. it is not yarn I would choose, feels rough and scratchy, has no shiny or sparkly qualities, and is not in decent cours. save your money. if you want a lucky bag, go for the cotton one instead, much better value
