For example, you could spruce up an old, boring knitted sweater with an embroidered motif and make it feel new and unique. Enter the embroidery hoop - an almost indispensable tool. The hoop holds the fabric/knitting in place, making stitching a breeze. 

The embroidery hoop consists of two hoops and works as follows: Unfasten the outer hoop. Place the inner hoop underneath the fabric/knitting you wish to embroider. Press the outer hoop down on the fabric from above to hold it in place, letting you work with ease. Remember to tighten the screw. If you want to make a larger motif, simply move the hoop around as needed. 

You could also embroider on the included fabric, which is 14-count white cotton.
