Super quick and easy. Can be adapted to a different size or adding extra colours, just remember to have the last part of the base as one double crochet rather than two as you need the odd number when you start on the sides. The slip stitch edging really does make it look better, and worth correcting if you miss it/ go for single crochet by accident!

I liked making this though being a beginner I think my tension varied throughout the project the sides were a bit floppy. I used friends ribbon yellow and purple

Lovely pattern for a basket and easy to follow! The slip stitch row at the end is a must as it brings it all together and gives the basket a better shape
