An unbelievably beautiful wool blend with an amazing depth of color and an extraordinary glow!
We have Winter Glow produced at an Italian spinnery that makes color combinations that are out of this world.
The yarn has a loosely spun structure with a slight variation in thickness and is easy to work with. As your project takes shape, you’ll see layer upon layer emerging in a surprising and fascinating play of beautiful color.
The South American wool used is both warm and soft. Therefore, Winter Glow is suitable for projects such as ponchos, jumpers and cardigans, beanies, mittens, and scarves…all with breathtaking colors to spice up any outfit. Otherwise, use it to create a unique blanket; a single skein goes a long way with its 700 meters.
Please be aware that the yarn's thickness varies quite a bit, providing the yarn with its very own expression.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2476-419). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Winterglow 06 was my first purchase from Hobbii, and it's definitely not the last!
I'm part way through the free crochet Winterglow cowl pattern tom Hobbii. This is my second ever crochet project and I managed to rip a lot of stiches when I started. It was near the 20th row when I realized my mistake. So, I had to undo all my work and start over again (being more vigilant in the process).
For the most part, the work came undone without any effort but it did catch on the "fluffy" sections. This was easily sorted but something to bear in mind. If you're more diligent than I was, it's not going to cause any issues..
P.s. Don't be like me, sign up to Hobbii Plus BEFORE you order, as the weekly scratch card, Monday Bingo, three free patterns and discount is worth it.

I have loved using this yarn .I ordered 3 in one colour thinking I was buying a traditional Aran weight.Once I got over that I was very pleased to have a long sleeved design of my own plus a beaded scarf to go with. I still had alot of yarn left So by putting some other fluffy yarn and plain contrast colour with it around the yoke I produced a second sweater for myself.I wore it over a shirt yesterday and it was so light but so cosy.I cannot wait to get going on my next colour.

This is absolutely beautiful yarn - I have made a lovely bolero and a scarf from just one bundle after a break from knitting of about 40 years. Ther are some gorgeous colours and I really like the softness and variable thickness of the wool which makes for an interesting finish. I have just ordered some more in a different colour to make a cardi-jacket. I think I've just caught the knitting bug!

I cannot recommend Winter Glow enough!!
It is beautifully soft and the colours are rich, deep and complex, I think I've just ordered my 4th colour way and am wishing I could have a couple of cakes in each coloueway.
I have crocheted this yarn into the 'virus pattern' shawl, but I've also woven with it. I recommend the hobbii cotton for the warp and winterglow makes a beautiful weft.

This is my first time not only using hobbi but winter glow also. The yarn us an absolute delight to knit with, the colours are a stunning blend and feels amazing. I'm knitting the neck warmer from one of the free patterns and it looks wonderful. Once I have finished I will upload a photo too. I will be using this yarn a lot more. I am delighted to have discovered hobbi.
