I bought this pack not knowing what to expect. I normally use a different well known (not cheap) brand only to be disappointed that the strands of cotton separate and make crochet difficult. I was very happy to note that the Friends brand poses no problems with strand separation. I am very happy with the quality and I will definitely repurchase these mixed packs. One thing that I really like is the the yarn feeds from the CENTRE of the ball so as you as need more yarn, the ball remains stationary rather than rolling around and being irritating: such a simple thing but it makes a huge difference to ease of use. Well done Friends and Hobbii.

I have been wanting to up my cotton stash for most of the year since starting crocheting in March 2022, black Friday deals were too good to not order lol. Most cottons are stiff and strandy, making it difficult to pull the thread through but no problems and so soft - colours are gorgeous too

I bought a Christmas colour pack to make small toys for my Grandchildren’s advent calendars. The yarn was great. Colours perfect. But for the pattern I was doing, it was too thick. The 8/4 would have been better. I found a YouTube video on how to separate it into two balls of 4 strands, so my problem solved.
