Please welcome the delicious cake yarn: Cookie – an exciting acrylic yarn from Järbo, perfect for knitted or crocheted garments and accessories. One single skein (app. 200 g) is enough for an entire shawl or poncho, and the gorgeous print colors give a lovely effect – without having to make a single change of yarn!

Cookie is both soft and super pleasant to work with. Furthermore, the weight of the yarn provides a quick and beautiful result in both knitting and crocheting. Cookie carries the OekoTex-certificate, which means that the production is environmentally friendly and socially responsible, so you in turn can enjoy working the yarn in good conscience for big and small!!

Please be aware that the yarn's thickness varies quite a bit, giving your project some texture.

I bought 46219 to make a couple of pillow cases for the ottoman, so I bought 2.The colours are just like the photos - which rarely happens and the yarn cakes are so much bigger than the pictures suggest -
It is thinner than deramors dk and thicker than scheepjes catona dk and the ball is about the size of a victoria sponge - I think one ball would do at least 2 if not 3 cushions ( standard UK cushions of 17cm)
The best bit for me are the colour mixes - I have used a lot of lion brand mandala cakes and also caron yarn cakes and what always disappointed me with them is that one colour just suddenly stops and the next begins, which leaves a sudden blocky result in your work. This yarn is not like that - it is more like the Bernat wavelength yarn the coloured yarns are spun together giving a wonderful finished effect and no sudden clunky colour changes.
I was really pleasantly surprised - my first order of yarn with Hobbii and very happy with it - es ist Fantastisch! ;-)

I LOVE Cookie yarn! I like to work with colours, lots of colours, and Cookie is just that. I think I have bought it in about eight colourways so far. I make up swatches when it arrives, so great to see how the colours in each cake work together. Some of them take a really long time to repeat, so if you enjoy a nice surprise with your yarn, Cookie is the one! I have been using them with my own homespun yarn, using a strand of each, to up the colour combination surprises, and am achieving some really stunning stained-glass window effects, just a joy. I am having so much fun with Cookie, which is just as well because I have bought a tonne of it! Have recently studied the top-down crochet course on Domestika by Estefa Gonzales, I couldn't follow patterns before but now feel confident to follow charts and design my own garments, so am making my own clothes up out of Cookie for the very first time. Cookie cakes, so sweet!

I bought a cake of this yarn in the 'Candy' colour which I'm currently using to crochet a fan scarf. I'm struck by how beautiful the colours are and how perfect the colour gradient is, with each colour merging perfectly into the next with no 'choppy' abrupt colour changes that you sometimes get with other yarns. Looking at this yarn is like looking at an impressionist painting, it's that stunning. I will definitely be buying this yarn again. It's quite expensive but worth it if you are buying it for a special project.

I love this yarn. It's so soft and snuggly. I bought the Clorophyll hoping it would look like camoflage, and it does. I'm making plently of things for my husband. It's so lovely to crochet with, I find it really easy. The only thing to be aware of is that the fibres, which are what I presume make it so soft, cause sticking and tangling when pulling back. I was initially pulling back quickly and strongly. I suggest pulling back slow and careful, and the tangling happens much less, and is easy to deal with.

I am delighted with all the yarn I have purchased from Hobbii. I have made shawls in in Many Colours, cookie and Twister and lollipop. The colours are excellent and blend well as they run from the ball and the yarn is so soft. I have had compliments on those which are made but not sold yet because I have made them for Dementia UK sending all my profit to the charity. Many thanks, I am so glad I found you and I will be back for more shortly. Best wishes,
