We’ve been in that situation more times than we’d like to admit! With these cast on counting markers, you can save yourself from lots of counting - you just add a marker to your needle every time you’ve cast on 20 stitches :-) You get five markers with the numbers 20 - 40 - 60 - 80, & 100 on them.

The marker has been mounted on a safety pin and fits needles as large as 6 mm.
