A thick and lovely 8/8 yarn in 100% cotton. Cotton 8/8 is spun with 8 threads, which makes it double as thick as a 4-threaded cotton yarn (8/4). Cotton Kings 8/4 is produced in 100% pure and lovely cotton and comes in a large assortment of nice, fresh colors.

Cotton 8/8 is suitable for pretty much any knitting and crocheting projects where you want sturdy and strong cotton. It is perfect for Summer clothing and interiors, e.g. towels, dishcloths, amigurumi, teddies, and throws.

Be aware that the yarn can be machine-washed and as with 100% cotton yarn, it is even suitable for boil washing. This is especially important if you use the yarn for dishcloths, towns, etc. On the label we recommend 40°C, but only because the heat can make the colors fade in the long run.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I bought a few and have used the lilac and black to make body wash flannels. The yarn is excellent and after many uses it is still holding its form and works Wonderfully on the skin. The cotton has softened up really well.

Bought this to make face washcloths and soap bags. The colours are subtle, easy to knit and the results are very pleasing. The finished articles are soft to the touch and wash well.

Elizabeth Squirrell

I bought this for dishcloths - the yarn is lovely and soft, and strong, and it arrived very quickly. Excellent value for money. Recommended and will be coming back for more.

Rona

I have yet to use this, but I love the colours and feel of the yarn. Looking forward to crocheting a baby blanket with this. So far impressed.

Nathifa

Love this yarn, feels like I'm crocheting with butter!

Such a shame it's being discontinued. I'm glad I got the chance to try it out!
