Tibet is a gorgeous blend of 55% merino wool, 24% yak, and 21% polyamide and it is produced in Italy. It has a unique and lightweight chainette construction for added structure.

The combination of wool and yak gives warmth and softness to this yarn, making it ideal also for sensitive skin. Merino wool offers breathability and temperature control, yak adds a beautiful sheen, whereas polyamide gives Tibet strength and durability. Yak is one of the softest, warmest, and most luxurious fibers you can work with.

Use Tibet for your sophisticated creations: shawls, wraps, cardigans, and vests. This yarn is so delicate that you can wear it in direct contact with your skin and it is suitable for children as well.

Tibet will provide you with the perfect balance between comfort and luxury. We would highly recommend you give it a try, you will love it!

Supersoft, super light and airy. Absolutely gorgeous, and not itchy on sensitive skin. Planning a cowl with open crochet stitches with this. I tried it with a 3.5mm hand turned walnut hook, and the sample turned out lovely.

The yarn is really soft and lightweight - I look forward to seeing how it knits up. However, I ordered a few different colours (numbered 02, 28, 42) and each colour is significantly different in person than online. I've ordered many different types of yarn from Hobbii before and this Cewec yarn is the first to not have accurate photos. There is a lot less contrast between the colours and so my initial plans for a colourwork jumper will have to be rethought.

I heard a lot about the yak yarn, so many positive comments. i think i am going to try it
