PATTERN INFORMATION
This outfit is made for the Ida doll. The doll pattern is available separately: https://shop.hobbii.com/ida-doll
This pattern is knitted using straight knitting needles and seamed, using mattress stitch. The Christmas dress is knitted from the top down. The sleeve sts are placed on stitch holders and knitted after completing the dress bodice and skirt. The dress and boots trim is knitted separately and sewn on. The Elf hat is knitted from the white hat band to the tip. The boots are knitted in one piece.

I got this out fit to go with the Ida doll so that you can make it into a seasonal doll as well as an everyday doll

Comprehensive easy to follow pattern making this an enjoyable knit. Pattern doesn't mention the hair bows so I had to remember not to forget them which would be easy to do if you haven't knitted any other clothes for this doll. I couldn't try it on the Ida doll which I had already knitted a a birthday present last month but I'm sure they will fit. I used DK yarn already in my stash as I had the right colours so not Hobbii yarn on this occasion. Looking forward to my cousin's granddaughter's reaction at Christmas a I'm sure she will love this as well. Thank you for another great outfit!
