I have started this pattern as the instructions state, but i did not like the way a second seam was created. As you turn the joining corner, you are supposed to dc to the next stitch and slip stitch to join. I think this looked odd. I undid that. I have, where necessary just slipped st to the corner 2 chains and worked 3 chains to continue. I think it looks better.
