Challenging at first to understand but once I understood is was really easy and I got a beautiful top as a result that fit perfectly

This pattern is quick to work up and easy to follow, I added some appliqué for a fun twist.
I ran one of the ties around the back and out of one of the stitches on the other side, but if you do this I recommend making the other tie a little shorter so it works out the same length when tied.
