PATTERN INFORMATION
Bubblegum Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a circle. It begins with 1x1 ribbing and continues in stockinette stitch. After knitting the bottom part of the sweater, stopping where the bottom of the sleeve opening should start, the stitches are divided into the front and back panel by putting the stitches on hold. Then continue the stockinette stitch of the front and back panel separately to create the openings for both sleeves. Sleeves are worked from bottom up in a circle and attached to the body in the end. After stitching together the sleeves to the body, the stitches for the neck are picked up with the circular needles and knit in the round in 1x1 ribbing.
The colour of the sweater is made by combining three strands of yarn at all times. Change one strand of yarn at a time to achieve the gradient look. The colours are very customizable. You can have more than 3 colours in rotation!

I’’m fairly new to knitting and thought I’d try a jumper and loved the look of this one. I was a bit unsure about how I’d get one with the 3 yarns but it’s been very simple to make and I love how it’s turned out. I got the measurements slightly wrong and have made the sleeves a little longer as I have long arms but this was super easy to do.

I made this sweater for myself, but it has been greeded off me! It was easy to do, and knitted up very quickly. I didn't do the graduation properly, but it was still lovely. I am going to try it again without the graduations, just using the same 3 strands together throughout.
