WorldPride 2021 is hosted by Copenhagen. On this occasion, we are launching our Pride Color Pack, encouraging our amazing community to create awareness about Pride and LGBTQIA+ issues.
As a Danish-based company, we are very proud to be part of a culture that emphasizes inclusion, diversity, and equality. In the spirit of Pride, we have teamed up with InterPride - the owner of the WorldPride brand, and a global LGBTQIA+ organization founded to empower Pride organizations worldwide 🌍
The Pride Color Pack is a 12-pack Rainbow Cotton 8/4 yarn, including two skeins of each Pride color 🧶 With this, we want to inspire you to celebrate Pride by making a statement through colorful yarn projects. Love is for everyone, and so is Hobbii ❤️ Therefore, we are proud to share that Hobbii will donate 8% of the Pride Color Pack sold to InterPride’s Solidarity Fund to support those struggling in hostile or challenging regions for LGBTQIA+ communities. At the end of this blog post, we share some simple and beautiful rainbow patterns to inspire your Pride projects 🌈

How will your donations make a difference?
By purchasing a Pride Color Pack, Hobbii is able to help InterPride grow their Solidarity Fund, making it possible to assist Pride organizations in hostile environments and areas of crisis and conflict. There are 68 countries around the world where homosexuality is illegal, 6 countries where it is punishable by death. In 42 countries, LGBTQIA+ people face legal barriers to their freedom of expression. InterPride leads the Pride movement's fight for full equality and human rights for all. Your support makes that possible and makes the world a safer place for us all.
