Double Crochet or Treble Crochet? In this blog post, we refer to the US term ‘Double Crochet’ (dc). However, the same technique goes by the term ‘Treble Crochet’ (tr) in the UK.
How to do a double crochet
- Yarn over.
- Insert the hook into the first stitch from your hook.
- Yarn over and pull the loop through the stitch.
- You should now have three loops on your hook.
- Yarn over and pull the yarn through two of the loops on your hook. You should now have two loops on your hook.
- Yarn over again and pull the yarn through the two last loops on your hook. You should now have one loop on your hook.
