I used this hook with Friends Cotton Silk yarn to make a granny square cardigan. This was my first ever crochet make. The hook was perfect for this yarn - easy to work with without being too slippery and the end wasn't too pointed so didn't split the yarn. The project was a success and I have become quite obsessed with crochet. I have ordered these hooks in different sizes so I can make a start on several other projects which I have in mind.
