Sweet Tweed is a yarn made in Italy that combines both the fluffy mohair look and the elegance of the contrasting tweed speckles.
A lot of fibers have been combined to produce this yarn: acrylic, polyamide, mohair, wool, cotton, and polyester. The colors are mostly neutral, with the addition of some more vivid hues.
Sweet Tweed can be used in many different ways. My first time using a mohair yarn and I was sceptical how I would get on but I'm really glad I gave it a go. I didn't pair it with a second yarn and made a simple but effective flowy top. I'd definitely use this yarn again and now want to make a second top in another colour.
