Tweed Delight is a woolen tweed yarn with a classic composition, primarily made from a lovely South American wool, and the pretty tweed flecks from viscose. The yarn is lightly twined with a rustic structure, which makes it nice and soft and creates a beautiful result.
Use Tweed Delight when you want a beautiful, classic look you can stay warm in. It’s ideal e.g. soft sweaters, hats, and scarves.
Enjoy the beautiful play of colors in Tweed Delight. We’ve put extra effort into creating a lovely harmony between the primary color of the yarn and the flecks. Find your favorite among the classic, subdued colors – and the ones covered in a cornucopia of different nuances.
NOTE: Please note that a printing error has occurred on the label: The yarn must be washed by hand and must NOT be machine-washed. We apologize for the inconvenience!
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This is a lovely soft yarn with good stitch definition and drape. It is light for a winter yarn, but warm. The tweed effect means that the yarn appears to lack uniformity, but it stitches well and the overall effect is very pleasing.
I used the yarn to knit a very easy/simple long sleeveless winter tunic (Miski sweater pattern by Jane Ellison) in colour 22 which is a beautiful moss type green and am really delighted with the end result.

So gorgeous! I'm regretting that I had to wait a few days to order more because all of the Pink Confetti had sold out, and I was dying to make the sweater with it. But instead, I topped up with some other colours, and I'm planning on making a soft, squishy and beautifully striped sweater instead. The different combinations of base yarn and tweed colours make for a wide range with a perfect option for everyone.

I chose Night Blue (25) and the free Balmoral vest pattern from Hobbii. The yarn has a nice loft, features tastefully sized 'flecks' and has a nearly imperceptible variation of thickness.
It feels very comfy against the skin, so it would lend itself to hats, scarves etc.
The ease of care is one of the strong points for me, wash in the machine as per instructions and lay flat to dry. What's not to love?

Wow I am so impressed with this wool. Lots of other tweeds I have knitted with are quite rough this one is super soft. The colours I ordered (colour 8, 30 and 12) are beautiful. I couldn't be happier. Absolutely like the colours in the pictures. Best tweed I have ever bought and I can't wait to knit with it tonight

This is such a lovely soft yarn to work with and has some great colour options. I used this yarn for a simple garter stitch scarf and the tweedy texture is what made the scarf come to life with great stitch definition and colour depth. This yarn is a favorite of mine and I can't wait to use it for more projects.
