Toucan is a voluptuous chenille yarn that will bring a touch of velvet to your stash. This yarn is produced in 100% polyester which makes it plush and easy to care.
Crafters will appreciate its versatility and its generous thickness. You will just need some 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles or a 7 mm (US ~K-10.5) crochet hook to start creating your next project. Even bigger creations will go by quickly with this type of yarn as it will create a plush and dense result with even the most simple stitches.
As the vibrant hues of tropical birds, Toucan’s color palette is equally vivid and elegant, ensuring that you will find the perfect choice in its vast color variety.
Use Toucan to create blankets and throws, poufs, pillow covers, and carpets, as well as plushy animals. Get creative with exploring its texture, drape, and color possibilities.
Toucan will make sure that your projects will not only be visually stunning but also irresistible to the touch.
Pro tip: tie a knot when starting and finishing your skein or carefully burn its endings to secure the loose fibers in your project after weaving them in.

Toucan is a nice chenille like Honey Bunny and Baby Snuggle. It is the same size as Baby Snuggle but the texture is not as soft (it is still quite soft though). I do recall having a few issues making a magic circle and it seems a bit more 'clingy' than other yarns, so a bit harder to pull through in a magic circle (just need to hold and pull in the right places). It also looks different to other Hobbi chenilles and has a bit more of a wavy/zigzag look along the yarns rather than the typical rounded look (its hard to explain).
I crochet decorative pieces rather than functional clothes, toys etc so texture and fibre composition does not matter to me so this is just as good as any other chenille to me and I do encourage anyone who is fond of chenille to try!

OMG I don't even know where to start. This is just the best yarn I have used in my whole life time. For starters the colours is just like the picture (in my opinion) Then the yarn is so nice to work with! If you are wandering what type of hook to make it look nice (crochet) I suggest 5mm - 6mm hook as the stitches are so nicely made that I have fallen in love with the yarn. Also I love it so much that I have already used up all my green yarn (4 balls) I think I might even order more right now!

Absolutely amazing yarn… I absolutely hate working with chenille, but i loved working with this yarn, running my hands over it, just loving the texture. Some advice, definitely don’t crochet with this in hit weather though… made the mistake of bringing it on holiday with me only to not being able to touch it because it was so warm and made me sweat 😂😂😂

This yarn is absolutely FANTASTIC! I’ve used a lot of the honey bunny and baby snuggle yarn and this one is similar in terms of hook size required but with some added squishiness. The colour selection is amazing, there are so many beautiful shades to select from and it works up so nicely and hasn’t covered me in fluff like some other brands of chenille yarn.

Such an amazingly soft yarn. Best chenille yarn I've tried so far and I've tried a lot 😍
Works up quickly and for my current project ( Carl the crocodile ) using 2 strands together, it's working up fast.
A huge range of colours, I'm in heaven.
If you need to frog this, pull slowly so you don't damage it.
