Sultan Deluxe is made of 100% pure, soft cotton of premium quality.
Choose between the many fabulous color combinations where the colors change only one strand at a time. The color change happens evenly throughout the 1093 yards of yarn. This creates a long, slow color transition and adds a beautiful look to any creation.
Sultan Deluxe is therefore incredibly suited e.g. shawls and scarves since the long color transition will appear beautifully. Where the hue changes, you will see a tiny knot in one of the 4 twined strands that the yarn consists of. You can choose to ignore it which many crafters choose, or you can pull out a tiny bit of the yarn (the entire twined strand) to weave in the end at the back of your work.
As with Sultan, you can use the yarn for scarves and lovely cotton shawls or blankets that do not scratch. You will also get gorgeous results when you create a top, blouse, or tunic since the beautiful color effect really shows in projects like that. You use approximately 1 skein of yarn for one crocheted shawl/scarf.
Be aware that you normally use more yarn when crocheting than knitting, so you might experience that you will not get to see the entire color transition when knitting. But this depends on the pattern you use. It is a good idea to check the total amount of yarn you need before starting a new project, and compare it to the 1093 yards (1000 m) of yarn you get with Sultan Deluxe. Consider if you want to start from the inside or the outside of the skein depending on which color transition you prefer.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This yarn was my first experience using 100% cotton and it was lovely! I used shade 02 (Burma Ruby Star) and the gradient effect it gives throughout my project is absolutely beautiful. If I had to give any critique it would be that the yarn cake slowly loses its shape and therefore becomes less stable as more yarn is used, but really that is to be expected with any yarn cake so it isn't a huge issue. A stunning yarn with an easy-to-locate centre pull and a gorgeous colour gradient - you simply cannot go wrong with this! :)

I recently purchased 2 of these stunning colours after waiting FAR too long to do so! Haha. - number 2, Burma star ruby and number 9, Whitewater turquoise. I have to say, the colours are STUNNING! So vibrant and eye catching! This yarn also happens to be one of the softest I have ever purchased. I fear I may become addicted, as I already plan to buy more! 😂 haha.
Couldn't recommend this yarn more, guys!
Beautiful. 5*!
Thank you, Hobbii. ☺

I love this yarn. It's soft, has hardly any knots, keeps colour and form after washing and is a pleasure to work with.
So far I have made two t-shirts (crochet) and one pair of trousers (knitting) and I will certainly use it again for more projects (have two cakes in my stash and some leftover).

Lovely yarn and made a beautiful soft crochet shawl. The only trouble I had was working from the centre of the cake it had a tendency to pull out as a tangled mess at times which was time consuming to get untangled to carry on. Aside from that I can't fault it.

Definitely prefer this over the sultan. It's just as soft and the colour changes are amazing! It's a bit easier to work with and thicker and totally worth every penny! I used one cake to complete a shirt with sleeves and still had enough some left over!
