If you want to make a crocheted bear or a knitted toy a little more exciting for a child, then place this little squeaker in, e.g. the belly of the bear. When you press the squeaker, it gives a little squeak and when you release it, it fills with air, ready to be pressed again for more squeaking. A hit with both dogs and children.

Using the small size in an amigurumi to make a squeaky beak. I've noticed the squeak isn't totally reliable--you have to press it right to get it to squeak, which is harder to do once it's stuffed in the toy. Eventually you get it, but it might take 2 or 3 squeezes before you find the right spot to get the squeak. This might be easier with larger ones if you have a bigger project.
