PATTERN INFORMATION

This pattern is worked flat but calls for circular needles to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Do not cut yarn at the end of every color change. Simply carry yarn up throughout to reduce the number of ends to weave in later.

Tip: For the strongest hold when joining a new skein of yarn, I recommend using a coordinating color thread and sewing the ends together. This will provide a stronger hold versus merely weaving in the ends. Especially on a blanket that will be washed regularly, this will ensure your piece will hold up for years to come.

Should you wish to make this blanket larger or smaller, you can easily add or remove stitches from the cast on count. Ensure you purchase additional yarn in the same dye lot to complete your project if you plan to make it larger than as written.
