A fab pattern which looks amazing in the Manarola rainbow yarn. I loved making this shawl..the bobbles and pompoms add a nice texture to the item. The pattern is straightforward to follow and understand, being made up primarily of repeated rows. The only area for improvement I'd note is the final round of pompoms and just for the pattern to clarify how to crochet these in the centre stitch at the point of the shawl to get a symmetrical pompom edge..however even without that detail it's a nice easy pattern with good photos to provide extra clarification.

I loves this pattern so much. The bobbles on it give the shawl a lovely bit of texture. I’d definitely recommend this to beginners too.

Love the look of this shawl, using the Carnival yarn. To me it would have been helpful to have the number of spaces and puff stitches there should be after the rows for the first few rounds and then to know how many spaces and puff stitches it increases with for each row.
