I flung one of these bad boys together over the holidays as a gift for my teenage daughter who is delighted with it.
The pattern is simple and once you are past the initial start you don’t really need to think. I opted for the “check size against your model” approach to ensure the fit was what she wanted (she likes certain thing baggy, and others less baggy) and it was very easy to modify and customise.
Now my sister wants one too so maybe I shouldn’t have made it haha

I wrote an earlier review for this pattern. Would like to say I initially had a lot of problems with it, but I cc do have cognitive problems and I think that is why. Having got to grips with it, it actually IS easy to follow. I have since finished a cardi for myself, one for my mother, am almost finished one for one of my daughter's and have requests for another 3. I have added a photo to the gallery of the one made for Mum

This was the first crochet pattern for an item of clothing that I made for myself. It worked up super quick and found it very easy to follow. I’ve had many compliments from people at work and family saying how much they like it. Even my teenage daughters and MIL have asked for one of their own.

Such a delightful pattern to work with - I’ve now made three cardigans to date and I am OBSESSED! I added my own ribbed sleeves to the latest and they are just great!

The pattern is relatively easy to follow once you understand the overall scheme. I like the way you can select the sizes as you go. I did L for some dimensions and XL for others and it worked well for me. Very flexible.
