This was a fun pattern and it worked up quickly! I made it with a stiff cotton yarn (Aran weight, I used a 4.5mm hook) that has good structure. It can hold two small cakes at a time (depending on how big you decide to make it, of course).

I LOVED making this hammock. I keep meaning to make one of these, but none of the patterns I’ve seen have taken my fancy. This is just gorgeous and such a fun make. :)

Excellent pattern. I made mine with an Aran wool on 4.5mm hook.. and it turned out beautifully.

Lovely pattern. My only point is that when you start crochet the sides to make the hooks the instructions were kinda hard to read but other than that i love it!
