PATTERN INFORMATION
After a few round designs, I was longing for something different. So here’s a design that’s geometrically different to everything I’ve done before… a triangle made of triangles!
This is not a beginners’ pattern, but I’ve tried to add as much detail as possible and step-by-step pictures for every row.
Please note: This pattern is bought as a downloadable PDF. It’s not sent as a physical product.

I saw someone post their beautiful finished product of this shawl and knew I had to attempt it.......first pattern I've ever brought and honestly I am in love.....can't wait for the cooler weather to wear this.....lots of my friends now want a Ceylon tea shawl instead of their virus shawls....

Gorgeous pattern, takes a little bit of skill but I found the instructions pretty clear and the charts helped. The fpdc sections give it a really graphic quantity, and would look great in almost any colour/yarn. I've just started my second one!

I completed this for my Boyfriends Mother who wanted me to make her something for Christmas. I love the finished result, looks really pretty.
I struggled a little bit with it, I found the instructions for row 19, 20 and 23 very unhelpful and it lead to a lot of frogging. It would be more useful if instead it told you how many dcs or scs you need in the first portion to the first true palace, how many on each palace and how many in the middle section etc. i had to work that out myself and once I’d done that the 2nd and 3rd repeats were easy. If you’re relying on the actual stitch counts for your first round, you’ll struggle in the 2nd and 3rd because no counts are included.
The other part I didn’t like is the fact it doesn’t use the whole skein, I used a grey to dark blue twister skein and it stopped before I got half way through the last full colour change. There was definitely not enough to do the whole pattern again so I ended up putting a bordered edge on it instead.
