The yarn is lovely and it looks so fab on the model but after spending hundreds of hours making this dress not once, but twice, and it still looking like a weird sack with excessive sideboob, I've come to the conclusion it must be for a much slimmer model than I!

The triangle that you create is much too steep, so once it's wide enough to fit my widest part and the right length top to bottom, the actual sides of the dress are barely long enough to cover my hips and all my sides are exposed. Even if I crocheted extra rows in the arm holes, then the neckline would end up too wide. It's probably just a lack of skill on my part but I tried this twice, followed the pattern to a tee and used the video to no avail. It is a real shame as it looks so beautiful on the model and I was so excited to finish it. Both times! 🥴
