What our customers say about Cake yarn

Leanne Leake

My first ever cake yarn..... I’m in love! I saw the happiness poncho on line and really liked the colourway of the yarn that was used. Had to order it . I’m about 3/4 of the way to completion and love the way it changes colour as you go. The little knots when the colour changes are strong and disappear into the work . I’m definitely hooked on your crocheting yarns. Next stop arigumumi x

First time I’ve used a cake yarn and must say this wool is beautiful both in texture and colour change. I love it and will certainly buy more. Hobbii is excellent to deal with and considering the wool is coming from Denmark, delivery is speedy. Would definitely recommend.

First time using a cake yarn and I love it. The colours are beautiful and so soft. There is no splitting. I will be starting my next roll soon so just deciding what to make. Would recommend twister yarn to anyone and I will certainly buy it again

Sharon

Lovely colours. Great to work with. Excellent value for money. This yarn is a worthy contender and a definite winner when compared with the many other cake yarns on the market.

Jill

My new favourite cake yarn! It is so soft & squishy f the colour transitions are beautiful. I will definitely be buying more of this wonderful yarn.

I purchased this in Groovy Fantasy, colour 501. I am in the UK and impressed with the whole transaction. Immediately I had placed my order, I was sent an order confirmation and send tracking details when the order left Denmark. I was also impressed with the accuracy of the colour I chose, from looking at it on the internet to holding the yarn in my hand, this accuracy is so important for knitters/crocheters and I was so assured that I went back to the site and ordered some more yarn, which hopefully will be arriving soon. Thanks Hobbii, very glad I found you.

I suffer with a few chronic illnesses & would not usually be able to afford such good quality yarn. So I was happy to see your sale & overjoyed to receive such beautiful soft yarn so quickly. The freindly style of your customer service is very pleasing. I'm slowly teaching myself crochet a little late in life, having only started in February; but I can't wait to start my Twirls Deluxe projects. Also, many thanks for the useful free gifts. 🤗🤩

I can honestly say that this is the best yarn I have ever used. It was a dream to crochet with, and feels so soft. There is also enough yardage to make an adult sized shawl. The feel and drape of the finished product shows that this really is a deluxe yarn, and worth purchasing for that special project, and worth every penny. I used the colour Martian Pink that transitions so beautifully throughout the shawl. You really won't be disappointed.

Tina

Really easy to work with, lovely soft cotton and the colour transitions are lovely. I would just pass on a hint though. Particularly if you start from the middle to get that version of the transition once you get about 2/3rds of the way through the yarn does come out in lumps and knot. I am now on shawl number 4 and wound the cotton off into a ball first :-)

I'm currently making a crochet "virus" shawl in this yarn. It's a real pleasure to work with, kind to my skin, and resulting in a lovely fabric with a good drape. I like the long colour changes, and the way these are produced, changing one strand at a time, results in a very subtle gradation of shades. And talking of colour, the choice is amazing.
