Horizon offers beautiful, clear colors in the loveliest stripes. It is a super soft and rich yarn, which comes in large, delightful skeins of 200g. You will get really far with just one skein, which contains a total of 550 meters of beautiful stripes.

Horizon is a premium acrylic, so it is spun from extra good quality. This means that, amongst other things, the yarn is processed in several steps, that are similar to the processing of wool. The acrylic is combed, which makes it richer and extra soft. Furthermore, Horizon has been through a Hi-Bulk process, where the yarn is steamed under production and thus pulls together a little. This results in a more comfortable and softer fill.

Horizon can be used for many exciting projects. It is OEKO-TEX labeled, can be machine washed, and does not scratch! It is wonderful to use for clothing such as sweaters, scarves, hats, etc. But can also be used for interiors such as a soft, chunky blanket. It is also a great alternative for those who are allergic to wool.

The yarn is spun from a so-called anti-pilling acrylic. This type of fiber is constructed in a special way that makes the fibers less likely to pill, like acrylic usually does. Anti-pilling is neither a treatment nor a process added to the yarn; the difference is in the construction of the special fiber material that the yarn is spun from.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at: https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

Horizon is colored in hanks because it gives the loveliest color shifts and the yarn maintains its thickness. During this coloring process, this can mean that where the yarn’s threads meet, the threads can give off a little color to one another. It is important to emphasize that this happens before the colors are fixed and thus will not run off onto the finished yarn. It can, however, reveal itself as a few extra colored spots within the yarn.

Beautiful yarn. Its so squidgy and soft. Really can't believe its acrylic. Cakes go a long way...really!
This is actually my favourite yarn at the moment....its even overtaken Universe 4ply in my list of hobbii yarn favourites😍

I knitted a blanket in Horizon Flower Meadow (12) and it is beautiful. The yarn is so soft, lovely to knit with and the colours are beautifully vivid. The blanket looks like a rainbow and friends love it. The yarn is good quality and one 200g skein made a decent sized blanket.I have 3 other skeins of Horizon in different shades so cannot wait to use them. Highly recommended.

I bought the horizon amongst other yarns to try out what I like best from Hobbii, I am one of these people in a wool shop that has to touch everything before I buy it! But this is just the softest, nicest Yarn ever. I crochet using a 4mm hook with it and it's been so smooth to use! I can't wait till winter to use my new wrap!

Got to show some love because this is my favourite yarn, it’s so soft and easy to work with, I love using the moss stitch especially, it works up beautifully, tip for beginners: when you cut and then attach keep track of the direction and where in the colour scheme you are if you want to keep the pattern the same 😊
